Each year, the Boston Business Journal solicits nominations for its annual 40 Under 40 awards.
On average they receive more than 300 nominations. They represent a wide variety of leaders from for-profit, nonprofit and the government sectors. And, joining this year’s list of honorees is our own President and recently appointed Chief Strategy Officer for Comtrade Group Simon Taylor.
As the Boston Business Journal’s President & Publisher Carolyn Jones acknowledged, "We couldn't be more proud of this year's class of 40 Under 40… and I know the judges had a tough time selecting the best of the best. The 40 young professionals chosen this year really do represent the best and brightest the state has to offer, and it certainly bodes well for the future of the commonwealth."
This year’s list includes eight presidents or CEOs, fourteen C-level executives (CEO, COO, CFO, CTO) and numerous managing directors, founders and pioneers of Boston’s business community.
We know how tremendous the business and cultural heritage and commitment to community that many of this year’s 40 Under 40 exhibit. And as Comtrade Software is now a part of the vibrant Boston community since we recently selected Boston as the home for Comtrade Software’s global headquarters, we couldn’t be prouder of Simon’s accomplishment.
The city has a flourishing technology and innovation scene, and by bringing our offices here, we are well-positioned to continue our aggressive growth strategy and serve our North American customers and partners. And, of course, Boston provides access to some of the most seasoned and talented tech professionals in the world.
We’ll be sharing more as Simon accepts his award along with all the other winners on October 20th and we look forward to continuing to do our part to make a positive impact to the Boston community.
