To be named a Visionary once is truly amazing. Twice is memorable. The third time is significant to everyone at HYCU. Today, HYCU was recognized as a Visionary in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Backup and Recovery Software Solutions.
Like in the past, there are three significant factors that make this inclusion extra special.
First, there are no new entrants. Gartner recognized 13 companies in this report. Of the 13, three were named a Visionary.
Second, for our 4,200 customers and 440+ partners worldwide, it supports the work our talented team of engineers and customer success representatives work on daily. It’s a contributing factor to our 90+ NPS score and continued strong reviews on customer peer review sites.
Third, and perhaps the most significant, it is recognition of what we knew was happening in the market 18-24 months ago, when the number of SaaS applications in use across even midsize enterprises was well more than 200+. And, it is not just the number of applications in use that is considerable but when you factor in that SaaS is becoming a leading attack point for ransomware and that still less than ten of the most commonly used SaaS applications have enterprise class backup and recovery available to support simple human error let alone the rise of ransomware, then it is time to rethink approaches to data protection.
