Comtrade’s latest SCOM MP: Certified ‘Nutanix Ready’

Comtrade Software is now officially a part of Nutanix Ready program in the field of Management & Operations and Application Development.

What does Nutanix Ready mean?‍

Nutanix Ready identifies recommended applications and solutions that are trusted to enhance the Nutanix delivery infrastructure. All products featured as Nutanix Ready have completed verification testing, thereby providing confidence in joint solution compatibility. Leveraging its industry leading alliances and partner ecosystem, Nutanix Ready is an endorsement that showcases select trusted solutions designed to meet a variety of business needs. Nutanix Ready demonstrates current mutual product compatibility, continued industry relationships and interoperability.

We worked closely with Nutanix to develop a SCOM management pack (MP) to provide deep levels of application awareness that would provide the IT department with a greater ability to understand how applications like Citrix use compute, storage and virtualization resources while visualizing performance trends, device health and usage. With our SCOM MP for Nutanix, IT administrators can receive alerts within Nutanix’s Prism user interface as part of their day-to-day activities. Our New SCOM MP for Nutanix is creating a lot of buzz in the SCOM community lately; Microsoft MVP Kevin Greene reviewed the beta version in his IT blog and recommended the MP for those who have deployed both Nutanix and SCOM.

By the way, recently the Comtrade MP for Nutanix was also verified as Citrix Ready since we detect Citrix XenApp/Xen Desktop applications running on Nutanix Infrastructure.
